This piece in particular represents Colin McRae and Nicky Grist during the Rally of Portugal 1997 in 1/43 scale... I created this piece after being inspired by the imagery, power and 'If in doubt flat out' attitude Colin took to the sport, my aim to capture his driving style faithfully and respectfully...

For me I grew up watching Colin in his finest hours and was introduced to Rally through supporting Colin initially through the 2002 WRC championships, this Subaru Impreza is also such an iconic piece in rallying history so to make an art piece with the car as the central figure was truly wonderful...

The scene is handmade using recycled materials. The Subaru Impreza is a reconditioned model bought back to life in this diorama, frozen in time.

The piece comes complete with its removable acrylic cover.
